Internship opportunities at CN are open to full-time students in relevant fields, who have completed at least one year of study in their respective programs. 

  • Internship applications: September to March
  • Internship term: May to September (with possibility of extension for certain roles)

Early Careers Recruitment Process

  1. Internship roles are posted on CN's Careers Site  
  2. Candidates can apply online to be considered (please ensure using the same credentials when applying for multiple opportunities)
  3. Selected candidates will be contacted by a CN recruiter (if you are not selected, you will be advised via email)
  4. Interview is scheduled with the hiring manager 
  5. Hiring decision is made and offer is extended
  6. Background checks for selected candidates
